BRIGHTWAY DIRECT LLC
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Brightway Direct LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Brightway Direct," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Brightway Direct website, applications, and social media management services.
By using Brightway Direct, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, account information, subscription information, communications with us, and content or media you upload or create through Brightway Direct.
We may also collect technical and usage information associated with your use of the service, such as browser and device information, application activity, timestamps, publishing activity, error information, and other information used to operate and secure the service.
2. Connected Social Media Accounts
Brightway Direct allows users to connect supported third-party social media accounts, which may include Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
When you connect a social media account, the applicable platform may provide Brightway Direct with information and permissions that you authorize through that platform's authentication or authorization process.
Depending on the platform and permissions you approve, this information may include account identifiers, profile information, connected pages or professional accounts, authorization credentials, publishing permissions, and information necessary to provide requested account-management or publishing features.
3. How We Use Social Platform Information
Brightway Direct uses information received from connected social platforms to provide functionality requested by the user. This may include displaying connected account information, preparing content for a selected destination, scheduling content, publishing content, confirming publishing results, and providing related account-management features.
We do not obtain permission to access a social account simply because a user creates a Brightway Direct account. Social platform access is established through the applicable platform's authorization process when the user chooses to connect that platform.
4. Social Media Authorization Credentials
Brightway Direct may receive authorization tokens or similar credentials from connected third-party platforms. These credentials are used to perform authorized actions requested through Brightway Direct, such as publishing content.
Brightway Direct takes measures designed to protect stored authorization credentials and restrict their use to server-side functions that require them.
5. Content and Media
We process content and media that you upload, create, schedule, or submit through Brightway Direct in order to provide the service. This may include text, captions, images, videos, publishing destinations, schedules, and related metadata.
Content may be processed by service providers involved in hosting, media storage, media processing, delivery, or other infrastructure necessary to provide Brightway Direct.
6. How We Use Information
We may use information to provide and maintain Brightway Direct; authenticate users; connect authorized social accounts; create, schedule, and publish content; process subscriptions; provide customer support; maintain security; prevent abuse; troubleshoot errors; improve functionality; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
7. Payments
Subscription payments may be processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Payment processors may collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies.
Brightway Direct may receive information about your subscription and payment status that is necessary to manage access to paid features.
8. Service Providers
We may use service providers to support functions such as website hosting, databases, authentication, media storage and processing, payment processing, analytics, communications, security, and social media integrations.
These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services.
9. When We May Share Information
We may share information with service providers as necessary to operate Brightway Direct; with social platforms when you direct Brightway Direct to interact with those platforms; to comply with applicable law or valid legal process; to protect the rights, safety, and security of Brightway Direct, our users, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of business assets.
Brightway Direct does not sell authorization credentials for connected social media accounts.
10. Account Disconnection
You may disconnect supported social media accounts through available Brightway Direct controls or through the applicable social platform where such controls are provided.
Disconnecting an account prevents Brightway Direct from using that connection for future publishing once the authorization is removed or invalidated.
11. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Brightway Direct, maintain security and business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, why it was collected, and applicable technical or legal requirements.
12. Data Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of personal information associated with your Brightway Direct account by contacting us at service@brightwaydirect.com.
We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary or permitted for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute resolution, or other legitimate purposes.
13. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No internet-based service or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed without authorization.
14. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Brightway Direct and service providers supporting the website may use cookies or similar technologies when necessary for authentication, security, preferences, functionality, analytics, and operation of the service.
15. Third-Party Platforms and Websites
Brightway Direct integrates with third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms. This Privacy Policy does not control the privacy practices of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Stripe, or other third-party services.
16. Children's Privacy
Brightway Direct is intended for users who are legally able to enter into agreements and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
17. Privacy Rights
Depending on where you reside, applicable law may give you rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, or deletion of certain information.
Requests may be submitted to service@brightwaydirect.com. We may verify your identity and process requests according to applicable law.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Brightway Direct evolves or as legal, technical, or business requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
